Dear Friends, Supporters, Alumni, and Parents, I hope you had a nice Passover holiday and that you were able to get to a BBQ for Yom Ha'atzmaut. Happy 73rd Birthday to our great country, Israel!
This week we held our annual AFIDC Board Meeting over Zoom. Prof. Reichman began the meeting by giving an update about all the exciting things taking place on campus. Jonathan Davis followed by giving an update on the RRIS. We were happy to hear that enrollment for next year is up by 10% in the International School. The Board discussed the newly created Endowment Fund and our plans to grow it. I would like to especially thank, our long time supporter and Board Member, Alberto Vitale for leading the initiative to launch the American Friends of IDC Endowment Fund and for making the first contribution to this fund. Alberto’s vision for securing the financial future of IDC Herzliya is truly appreciated by the US and Israeli management.
As we spring forward with warmer weather and an abundance of COVID-19 vaccines, we are optimistic towards the future. The US alumni association will be bringing back in person events in June with an alumni Happy Hour in NYC. We will send out the details at a later date.
