Dear Friends, Supporters, and Alumni, I continue to hope that you are safe and healthy. It seems we have some light at the end of the tunnel. While we are not out of the woods yet, I am hopeful that we will be returning to a new normal soon. What that new normal will be is unclear, but we will make it work. IDC is getting ready to make some very big announcements and I look forward to sharing the news with you soon. The future is bright! The Raphael Recanati International School at IDC Herzliya began it's spring semester on April 19, 2020 via online virtual learning and has been providing the same standard of education to our students as if they were on campus. Since the outbreak of COVID-19, IDC Herzliya has invested tremendous resources to enable online classes, so that students do not miss the semester and their studies are not affected. All programs were transferred to online teaching, lecturers underwent special training, and a dedicated technical-support system was established. In addition to classes and lectures, students receive all their additional services remotely: library services, psychological counseling and more. Both the academic and administrative staff that provide campus services continue to work from home and respond to students remotely. I encourage you to take advantage of the educational Zoom sessions we have on so many great topics. The IDC US Alumni Association is continuing with their initiative "Never Stop Learning" in partnership with GANT, where top IDC professors and alumni lead fascinating Zoom sessions in various topics relevant for current days. You can see their upcoming sessions below and we invite you to join us! Please also feel free to browse the Institute for Policy and Strategy at IDC Herzliya newsletter with some interesting articles by clicking here. As you read through this newsletter, know that IDC is here for you. Wishing you all the best, stay safe, and healthy! Shabbat Shalom!
